A NEW children's football team has been kitted out by a housing association.
Middlesbrough players of Middletown AFC have three sets of football strips for different age groups thanks to Endeavour Housing Association.
Peter Tomlinson and Tony Hardy recruited youngsters from the Granville Road area of Middlesbrough.
Mr Tomlinson said: "We saw local kids playing football in the street and we thought why not give them an opportunity to show off their skills on the pitch.
"There's a lack of things for local youngsters to do, so playing football gets them off the streets and gives them something positive to work towards."
