People taking their Christmas trees to their local tip for recycling are being offered the chance to enter a prize draw.
North Yorkshire County Council and City of York Council are giving vouchers to people up to January 12. Prizes include a garden bench made of recycled plastic, a home compost bin or bags of compost.
