A LEISURE and office development in Team Valley, Gateshead, has let nearly half its space.
Maingate, a development that includes a hotel, office, retail and leisure facilities, has opened and developers say inquiries for space are at an all-time high.
It is at the northern entrance to the Team Valley.
The hotel, Tulip Inn, opened in October and the office, retail and leisure parts of the site are ready for occupation.
Gary Hudson, development director of UK Land Estates, said: "This prestigious gateway development is changing the face of the Team Valley.
"With more than 700 businesses located in the valley, with more than 20,000 employees and thousands of visitors a day, this is sure to be a busy centre for trade."
