MANUFACTURER Deepdale Solutions is moving to a Hartlepool business park, creating 41 jobs.

The company will be the first at the multi-million pound Queen's Meadow Business Park.

Deepdale, which specialises in the computer-aided design, manufacture and installation of aluminum curtain walling, doors and windows for commercial and large residential developments, will move into a 20,000sq ft unit.

Queen's Meadow Business Park, which is owned by regional development agency One NorthEast, covers a 142-acre site between Corus steelworks and the A689.

John Holmes, director of regeneration and tourism at One NorthEast, said: "We are very pleased that our work with Deepdale Solutions has supported their move to this quality location. Queen's Meadow is a key strategic site which, once fully developed, has the potential to create 1,500 jobs for the area and as such, we are confident that it will make a significant contribution to the economy of Hartlepool and the Tees Valley."

One NorthEast has invested £4.5m in Queen's Meadow, which is being promoted by Hartlepool Borough Council as a prime site for developers.

Deepdale Solutions will initially employ 22 people at the Queen's Meadow site and expects to recruit another 19.
