A CLUB for people with disabilities or mobility problems could join forces with other groups in a bid to secure their own premises.
Newton Aycliffe Mobility Club met on Monday to discuss the possibility of merging with other small groups that support disabled people in the area.
Durham County councillors for the town, Bill Blenkinsopp and Terry Hogan, said if several groups team up they may be able to access grants for a permanent shared base.
The club also renewed its call for more volunteers to help with activities.
