A CHARITY shop has reopened after a having a facelift.

The Oxfam shop, in Bondgate, Darlington, opened yesterday after a two-week refurbishment.

An extension to the building now houses the clothing section, and a changing room has been added.

A children's section, with toys, books and clothing, has also been included.

The second-hand books and bric-a-brac sections have been extended, and the shop continues to sell Fair Trade products.

Manager Marion Cowper said the work was very impressive.

"It has been long overdue, but now we have a completely new look.

"We are very excited by it all, and would love people to see what we have done."
