JAZZ is in the air at Bishop Auckland Town Hall on Saturday when a six-hour workshop is followed by a concert.
The workshop has been designed to give brass and woodwind instrumentalists a chance to play alongside composer and arranger John Warren, tenor saxophonist Lewis Watson and trombonist Keith Norris, plus a piano, bass and drums trio. The event is from 10am to 4pm and costs £15.
On Saturday night, Tenor Madness features saxophonist Don Weller with Lewis Watson, Adam Dennis on piano, bass Ken Marley and drummer Adrian Tilbrook.
