THE only buckets Catherine Monument wants to see now are full of ice and chilled champagne.
After 21 years as a cleaner at Darlington's Argos store, the 84-year-old has retired.
Mrs Monument, known as Kitty, who lives in Lazenby Close, worked her last cleaning shift at the weekend.
Her colleagues held a surprise party for her and presented her with a gold dustpan and brush.
She said: "Leaving was the hardest and saddest thing I have ever had to do. But they won't be getting rid of me, I will be dropping in to say hello."
