COUNCIL tenants are meeting tonight to demand a say on the future of their homes.
Tenants on Woodhouse Close, in Bishop Auckland, are pressing Wear Valley District Council to reverse its decision not to offer a ballot on a new management scheme.
Wear Valley District Council has agreed to hand over its 5,000 properties to an arms length management organisation, arguing this will give it more cash to spend on improvements.
The meeting is in the Community Centre on Proudfoot Drive at 7pm.
