FOUR talented students have been singled out for praise by a school's sports council.
Pippa Allen, Emily-Jane Saxby, Paul Johnston and Abi Curry recently won certificates for Outstanding Sporting Achievements from Teesside Schools' Sports Council.
The students, who attend Red House School, in Stockton, have been nominated for achievements in tennis, showjumping, cricket and athletics.
Abi was named the school's sports personality of the year for her tennis success. She is Great Britain champion and ranked number one for the under-12s age group.
Pippa was honoured for her showjumping success, which included winning in front of the TV cameras at a team event at Olympia in London.
Paul was nominated for his achievements on the cricket pitch, while Emily-Jane received her certificate for the biathlon.
