A VIDEO and DVD project by a County Durham youth club is due for a national showing this summer.
Youngsters at Manor Park Youth Club, in Lanchester, decided they could improve on the usual written application for sports equipment.
They turned to technology and developed their application into a Vamp - Video Application Multi-Media Project.
The North Pennines LEADER+ officials were so impressed they commissioned the club to make a film of their project to show others how to do the same.
North Pennines LEADER+ is a European Community initiative funding grass roots projects in rural areas.
