GROTESQUE Oriental figures are the subject of a talk in Durham City this weekend.
To mark the end of its exhibition of enigmatic Chinese prints, the city's Oriental Museum, in Elvet Hill, will host a talk called Enlightened Grotesques, by deputy curator Kevin McLoughlin.
The talk takes place at 2pm on Saturday, and explores the story behind the art and offers a fascinating insight into the images of legendary Chinese and Buddhist figures.
