WITNESSES are being sought after a "highly visible" raid on isolated premises near Sutton Bank on the edge of the North York Moors.
The thieves stole 3,500 litres of diesel fuel, a power-washer, two petrol strimmers, an MTD ride-on mower, a Hayter lawnmower and a green Kawasaki quad bike.
The raid took place sometime between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning and police believe the raiders must have had at least one sizeable vehicle with them to get the haul away.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area is urged to contact police on 0845 6060 247.
