TEESSIDE shopping centre Wellington Square has appointed COLIN SMITH as its operations manager.
He will be responsible for the running of the Stockton centre's maintenance programme, cleaning and security.
Mr Smith was previously operating manager at Marks & Spencer, in Darlington, Middlesbrough, Stockton and Hartlepool.
His most recent position was food manager at the Wellington Square M&S store.
Wellington Square centre manager, Rob Gildersleeve said: "We knew straight away that Colin was the right man for the job. Working for such a large national retailer, his knowledge in operations is second to none. He has also been on the other side of the fence, so retailer empathy made him the ideal candidate."
