A CHARITY is looking for a volunteer to be its future figurehead in County Durham.
The County Commander of the Durham branch of St John Ambulance is due to retire in three years time and the organisation is looking for a volunteer to act as his deputy and eventually take over the job.
The post would suit a person with a background in senior management, with diplomatic and inter-personal skills.
Expenses are paid and the post would demand about two days a week, and some evening and weekend work.
