A REPORT in yesterday's Northern Echo on candidates for the upcoming Stockton Borough Council elections listed the number of seats being contested in each ward.
Some of this information was incorrect. In wards for Billingham Central, Billingham East, Billingham South, Billingham West, Grangefield, Hartburn, Newtown, Norton West, Parkfield and Oxbridge, Stainsby Hill, Stockton Town Centre and Village we said there were three seats. The correct number of seats for all these wards is two.
For Bishopsgarth and Elm Tree, Fairfield and Roseworth we stated there were four seats. However the correct number is two. For the Yarm ward, we stated there were four seats, but the correct number is three. We apologise for the errors.
