CARE staff from across the region have been cooking up treats for elderly people.
Catering experts at Darlington College of Technology joined forces with nutrition specialists to run a Focus on Food course for professional cooks.
About 30 staff attended the six-week course from nursing and residential homes across the region.
The course also led to participants gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
