A record seven gold, 36 silver and 202 bronze Duke of Edinburgh awards have been won by young people in east Cleveland. Six of the gold award winners are former students of Prior Pursglove Sixth Form College, Guisborough.
All will receive their awards at a civic ceremony, organised by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council at Redcar Community College on Thursday.
