Gaunless Valley Heritage guide Pat Butynska is leading an eight-mile walk along the Haggerleases branchline in Gaulness Valley, which is expected to take six hours.
A mini bus will pick up walkers at 10am at the Gaunless Valley Visitor Centre, The Slack, Butterknowle. Places on the bus are limited. To book, call 0191-383 4144.
