HOSPICE supporters have been congratulated for raising more than £10,000 for the unit.
The Richmond Support Group for St Teresa's Hospice, Darlington, collected £10,794 for the charity during the last financial year, according to figures released at the group's recent annual meeting.
Since it was formed 13 years ago, the group has raised £103,000.
At the meeting, hospice director Jane Bradshaw thanked the support group for their help, and the residents of Richmondshire for attending events.
The group's next event will be a concert by Tony and Freda Dykes, the Dales Folk Duo, on Saturday, May 14, at 7.30pm, in the multi-purpose room at the Friary Hospital, Richmond.
