GEMMA Taylor has been crowned Britain's Strongest Woman after winning all five of the competition's events.
Gemma, 21, of Bagby, near Thirsk, can now add the title to her UK's strongest woman trophy.
During the event, held in Maidstone, Kent, she pulled a minibus 20 metres in 15 seconds, lifted a 55kg log 18 times in 75 seconds and did a dead lift of 220kg - the maximum weight.
She said: "I woke up feeling strong and was totally determined to do my best. I realised that it doesn't matter whoever you are up against, the person that is more important to beat is yourself. I got a few personal bests from this event, which was as good as winning the title."
Gemma, who trains six days a week and eats six meals a day, came fourth in the same competition last year.
She plans to take on the rest of the world at the World's Strongest Woman contest in Ireland on July 13 and 14.
