A WEBSITE to help create more entrepreneurs has been launched.
Business Creation will give people access to details of events organised by support organisations, as well as factsheets and tips on how to start a business.
Edward Smith, of Business Link County Durham, which runs the scheme, said: "It was clear that local people were looking for a locally-based and comprehensive source of information.
"This site is unique in that it carries all the events and information relevant to County Durham in one place.
"The support is there for would-be entrepreneurs and there is no need to go it alone."
The site already has details of 30 events each month, from workshops on managing money, to selling skills and support services.
More than 20 factsheets are available covering topics from cashflow, business plans, marketing and franchises to finance, tax and VAT.
