Coroner seeks man's relatives: THE Coroner's Office is appealing for relatives of 64-year-old Peter Powlowski to contact them. Mr Powlowski was found dead at his home in Wheatacre Close, Marske, on June 20. There were no suspicious circumstances, but Sandra Martin, of the Coroner's Office, believes he has relatives in the Teesside area. They are asked to ring her on (01642) 243221.

FLORAL TRIBUTES: A flower festival, celebrating the life and times of former Lord Mayor of London Sir William Turner, opens at the 17th Century almshouses, which he founded in Kirkleatham, Redcar, this weekend. Presented by Guisborough Floral Art Club, the displays are built around Sir William's life and achievements.
