A timber company has appointed a manager for its new sales centre.
Robert Timmens, 39, of Darlington, has joined North Yorkshire Timber (NYT) to run its Northallerton centre.
He has worked in the timber industry since leaving school and was previously branch manager at Jewsons, Darlington.
Mr Timmens said: "The opportunity to set up NYT's new, purpose-built sales centre was just too good to miss."
The company, which was established in 1979, also has sales centres in Northallerton, Richmond, Ripon, Middlesbrough and Sunderland.
