DANCERS from Columbia are visiting Northallerton next month.
Colegio del Cuerpo will be performing The Soul of Things, at the Hambleton Forum, at 7.30pm on July 7.
The show is part of a week- long visit to North Yorkshire by the group, who will also be holding workshops and visiting youth groups and schools.
Colegio del Cuerpo, set up in 1997, is a social dance project for disadvantaged children growing up in an environment of violence and conflict.
Through dance and movement, it enables youngsters to explore issues relating to their personal development.
The North Yorkshire tour has been made possible by the county council's Connecting Youth Culture, regional dance agency Get Moving and charity Children of the Andes.
