CROOK residents will round off a busy festival week on Saturday with a carnival at the town's cricket club.
Sarah Akers is queen for the carnival celebrations, which start at 10.30am. She was chosen, along with attendants Alexandra Wright and Rebecca May Richardson, at a family disco at the club.
There will be a host of carnival fun, including entertainment by stilt walkers, a bungee run and an Army climbing wall.
There will also be face painting, stalls, a fancy dress competition, jewellery making, refreshments and a £100 draw.
