CROOK residents round off a busy festival week on Saturday with a Community Carnival at the town's cricket club.
Sarah Akers is queen for the day, which starts at 10.30am. She was chosen with attendants Alexandra Wright and Rebecca May Richardson at a family disco held in the club.
The organising committee are expecting big crowds on the field.
They have arranged a host of attractions including stilt walkers, a bungee run and an Army climbing wall. There will also be face painting, stalls, a fancy dress competition, jewellery making, refreshments and a £100 draw.
