POLICE have stepped up their search for a missing teenager.
A dedicated incident room has been set up and 20 officers are looking for 19-year-old Jenny Nicholl.
She has not been seen at her home in Richmond, North Yorkshire, since last Thursday.
Police and Miss Nicholl's family say they are extremely concerned because it is totally out of character for her to go away without telling anyone.
Officers have searched several country areas that Miss Nicholl likes to visit and have conducted house-to-house enquiries.
Her white Rover 214 was found abandoned at the Holly Hill pub, on the edge of Richmond.
Miss Nicholl is 5ft 6in and slim. She has green eyes, a fresh complexion and fair, shoulder-length hair which she usually wears up in a high ponytail.
On the evening she was last seen, she was wearing a pink sleeveless top, blue jeans with holes in the knees, a khaki duffle coat and black trainers.
Anyone who has seen her or knows her whereabouts is asked to call (01423) 539334.
