Struck by Kings, are an indie band, based in the North East. The band is made up of four Darlington boys, who formed after the original members of the band, vocalist Jake Turnbull and lead guitarist Thomas Howson expanded their acoustic act “Tom&Jake” as they were joined by drummer Glen Bowen and bassist Ross Latue.
The band have been playing together for almost a year, and have played at popular local venues such as The Forum, Seen and Inside Out in Darlington, as well as playing at The Empire and Warehouse in Middlesbrough. Struck by Kings competed at the Seen Battle of the Bands, and although the band did not leave as the winners, they created a huge amount of hype. Their energetic riffs and vibrant, original sound is always a strong crowd pleaser.
