A NOTORIOUS hardman has admitted breaching an Asbo after he visited three pubs he was banned from.

Peter Francis Hall, 31, was seen in the Zetland Hotel, Harvey’s Bar and the Jovial Monk, all in Middlesbrough, despite being barred from all the town’s pubs that are members of the Pubwatch scheme.

The self-employed property developer, of Fairfield Avenue, Ormesby, Middlesbrough, was given a two-year Asbo in 2008 following a reign of terror in the town.

Teesside Magistrates’ Court was told that Hall had sought permission from the landlord or staff at the bars before staying for a drink.

The court heard that the 6ft former amateur boxer had not caused any trouble while in the bars, in August last year, but a passing police community support officer saw him.

Hall said he was unaware he was barred from the premises.

He was ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work.

He is due to appear at the court on May 11 on a charge of threatening behaviour.

Hall, Samuel Robert Harvey, 21, of Jubilee Street, Middlesbrough, and Daniel Ronald Goddard, 23, of Earlsdon Avenue, Middlesbrough, have all denied charges of threatening behaviour and actual bodily harm.

The charges relate to an alleged assault in the Pied Piper pub in Ormesby, Middlesbrough, in September last year.
