A TEENAGE girl had to be taken down from a roof in Darlington tonight.
Details are sketchy, but eyewitnesses said police, fire and ambulance were called to Coniscliffe Road in the town shortly before 10pm.
One said he saw firemen on the top of a ladder trying to coax the teenager down.
She was said to be clinging to the guttering area.
According to police she was on the roof for around ten minutes.
She was initially taken to the waiting ambulance, but the police spokesman said she did not require treatment.
