A SEARCH has been launched for a new face to join the district council in Richmondshire.
The standards committee needs an independent member to join the group of 12 members.
The committee meets four times a year and has a duty to assess complaints against district and parish councillors.
It is made up of four independent members, two parish members and six district councillors and the appointment can be for a two or four-ear term. To find out more contact Michael Dowson, Head of Democratic Services, on 01748-827088. The closing date for applications is October 16.
