THREE health professionals have been appointed to the board of a North Yorkshire primary care trust.
The Appointments Commission has selected three new members to the clinical executive of NHS North Yorkshire and York.
Five existing members have also had their appointments renewed.
The board is made up of eight clinical professionals from across North Yorkshire and York, who dedicate one day a week to the role.
The new faces are: · Gillian Boler, a nurse manager from Malton surgery, who has been appointed a clinical engagement lead; · Kumar Kumarenden, a senior consultant in obstetrics and foetal medicine for South Tees Hospital NHS Foundation Trust - lead for mother and newborn and planned care; · Nicky Hollowood, Biomedical Scientist at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, is appointed as a clinical engagement lead.
Vicky Pleydell has been re-appointed chairwoman and Dr George Campbell returns as vice chairman.
Dr Emma Henderson returns as a lead for end of life and mental hHealth, Melanie Liley is re-appointed to her role of planned care and long term conditions and Jo Johnson is re-appointed as a lead for children and unplanned care.
