Ferryhill Town Council will be flying the ‘Special Armed Forces Day Flag’ to show support for the special day on Saturday, 27th of June.
The flag will be flown in unison with other flags being raised across the United Kingdom. The special day is to show support, honouring Britain’s Armed Forces, past, present and future.
Various events will be held across the UK to mark the special day. Marking a moment in history, the flag will be long remembered with warmth and pride by the men and women who make up our Armed Forces.
When the flag is lowered at the council offices on Monday, 29th of June, it will be presented to a local veteran.
