A GARDEN competition will take on a new format for its tenth year.
Barnard Castle Town Council will now hold their garden competition on Monday, July 13 and a new floral competition on Saturday, July 18.
As well as the usual business and residential categories, the garden competition will this year have a childrens section where children in four age groups produce a container garden using a recycled container.
The floral competition will have both adult and childrens categories in flower arranging.
Entry deadline for both parts of the competition is Monday, July 6. For more details call Yvette on 01833-690970.
