POLICE have uncovered a cannabis farm at a Hartlepool house following a tip-off from a member of the public.
Around £50,000 worth of the drug was discovered when officers raided the house in Wynyard Road.
Officers found 160 mature plants, each worth around £300, when they searched the property.
A local 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession and cultivation of a controlled drug. He is currently being questioned by police.
