A SERIES of new courses is to get underway later this month for anyone wanting to try belly dancing, shape up their vocal chords or tune up a guitar Clayport Library, in Durham City, has organised the courses in conjunction with New College, Durham.
As well as singing for fun, beginners' guitar and belly dancing, they are also offering computers on the Internet, sign language for beginners and online family history.
An enrolment evening for the courses will be held at Clayport Library, Durham City, on Thursday, January 15 between 6pm to 8pm.
Other courses running at the library in January include holiday Spanish, introduction to web design, introduction to desk top publishing, and computers for beginners.
There are also courses for family Spanish and Italian for children aged six to 16 who must be accompanied by an adult.
