When Shelly, a playboy bunny (Anna Faris) finds herself kicked out of the playboy mansion with nowhere to go, she stumbles across a bunch of sorority girls from Zeta Alpha Zeta. The seven members just happen to be the most socially clueless women on the planet and because of this, they're going to lose their house. The bubbly Shelly turns out to be what these girls need most to save their house but along the way, all of them realize that they should be themselves instead of pretending to be what others expect of them.

This is one of those films that will be easily dismissed without a second look but I strongly discourage you from that as Anna Faris deserves your attention, with her uncanny comic ability and unbeatable charm that leaves you rolling on the floor with laughter. In short, she makes the movie watchable and entertaining. The supporting cast just adds to the strenght of the movie, the best supporters have got to be Kat Dennings and Emma Stone (Jules from Superbad). Stone is so likable and adorable that she's the best character in the movie after Faris. I really enjoyed Kiely Williams performance as Lilly, despite the fact that she only speaks at the end of the film, the random texts received from her during the film is enough to get a laugh or two.

The final point to this movie is that throughout it all, the message behind it is to be who you really are, something I believe that should be taken more seriously. All in all, The House Bunny is surprisingly funny and should defiantly not be overlooked.
