WITNESSES are being sought after a teenage schoolboy was hurt in a hit-and-run incident in North Yorkshire.
The 16-year-old pupil from Harrogate Grammar School as was crossing Otley Road in the town, by Arthur’s Avenue, when the incident happened at about 3.45pm on Thursday.
He was in collision with a dark, medium-sized saloon which is believed to have been turning out of Arthur’s Avenue. The car failed to stop and drove off.
The schoolboy was taken to Harrogate District Hospital for treatment and was discharged later the same day.
