My favourite Christmas card so far arrived this morning.
It was signed by the children and staff at the Butterwick Children's Hospice.
They wanted to say thanks for the money I've raised this year through sales of the Dad At Large books and speaking engagements.
I was really touched.
All I can say is that it is a pleasure and a privilege to be able to help the Butterwick Children's Hospice in a small way.
The ones who really deserve thanks are the unbelievable staff who make the children's hospice such a special place.
*I'll be signing copies of the new Dad At Large book in the reception of The Northern Echo's head office in Darlington between 12 and 4pm tomorrow (Saturday, December 20).
The book will raise more money for the children's hospice.
I hope to see you for a mince pie and a glass of sherry!
