COPIES of the latest Dad At Large book will be signed by author Peter Barron tomorrow.

Peter, editor of The Northern Echo, will be signing books between noon and 4pm in the reception of the newspaper’s head office, in Darlington.

Dad At Large 4 – The View From The Doghouse is a compilation of columns about the highs and lows of fatherhood.

The book costs £5 with £1 from every sale going to the Butterwick Children’s Hospice.

Dad At Large has so far raised £16,000 for the charity.

Peter said: “The book is an ideal stocking filler for harddone- by dads who spend far too much time in the doghouse.

“It’s in a good cause, so please come along, buy a book and have a free mince pie and a glass of sherry.”
