FIRE crews attended a small fire in a property in Upper Town, Wolsingham, this evening.
A spokeswoman for Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Stanhope and Crook were sent to the scene.
The fire was reported at about 10.20pm on Wednesday, with crews stood down about an hour later.
No one was reported as being trapped in the building, which is a private dwelling, said the spokeswoman.
Crews used breathing apparatus to tackle the fire, in the living room of the property.
