MAGICAL PERFORMANCE: Ten-year-olds Kemer Aydin as Bert and Jessica Crompton in the title role of Mary Poppins, staged by Polam School, Darlington
UPILS have been showing off their creative sides with a musical production of Mary Poppins.
More than 130 youngsters from Polam Hall Junior School, Darlington, took part in the show, which was performed three times for parents and invited guests.
The show traces the magical adventures of nanny Mary Poppins, her young charges, Jane and Michael Banks, and her chimney sweep beau, Bert.
The cast included Jessica Crompton as Mary Poppins, Kemer Aydin as Bert, Stephanie Pratt as Mr Banks, Charlotte Crowther as Mrs Banks, Lucy Moss as Michael and Lucy Walker as Jane.
A collection raised more than £1,100 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
