A man has been treated in hospital after a suspected knife attack by three men dressed in black clothing.

Police are looking for suspects, following the assault in Redcar last night(Friday, April 19).    

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Detectives from Redcar CID are investigating an assault on a man and are appealing for information or footage which could help them progress their enquiries.

"It happened at around 9pm last night (Thursday 18th April) on Edenhall Grove in the town when a male victim in a vehicle was assaulted by three unknown males.

"The man, 33, sustained numerous injuries consistent with a bladed article and he sought hospital treatment. His injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening."

The only description police have of the suspects is that they were all dressed in black clothing.
