A man accused of having sexual conversations with a child using social media messages has appeared in court.
The case against Gary Bisset, 42, of Dorset Avenue, Barley Mow, Birtley, was heard at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court.

He is charged with engaging in sexual communication with a child on January 1 2023.
The case has been sent Newcastle Crown Court and the next hearing is April 5.
