Two men have been sentenced following a robbery at a Hartlepool store which saw them threaten to pull a knife on workers and members of the public.

Bradley Doyle, 24, from Hartlepool and Kane Sutheran, 23, from Stillington, attended the Premier Store on Osbourne Road on August 12, 2023, where they attempted to steal goods before being stopped by a woman.

The men threatened that they would pull out a knife, and Bradley Doyle put his arm around the woman’s neck whilst trying to steal more items and make off.
