AN award-winning holiday park is expanding.
Two eco lodges have opened at Bronte Country Park, with planning permission for a further nine.
The lodges – one three-bed, and the other two – have been built using reclaimed construction materials and feature sedum roofs, air source heat pumps and vehicle electric charging points.
Business owner, John Darling, says: "We obtained planning approval before Covid, so it's been a long time coming to finally get the eco lodges launched.
"They are already proving really popular.
"With the lodges' power coming from the air source heat pumps, they are great for the eco-conscious traveller.
"We're attracting people from all over the world, and have had 100 per cent five-star reviews so far.
"We'll look at building the other nine lodges soon."
The 50-acre site – off Halifax Road, between Keighley and Haworth – features 110 static caravans, two lakes, a river, picnic park and nature trails, and there's a platform where people can watch steam trains on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway.
