Getting your oven clean is no easy task and it’s often one chore that we tend to put off for as long as possible.

However, there is a simple and budget-friendly solution that many fans of the cleaning phenomenon Mrs Hinch swear by.

Mrs Hinch - otherwise known as Sophie Hinchcliffe - is well-known and beloved for sharing cleaning tips and tricks.

In fact,  she's inspired a whole community including a Facebook group called Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips where like-minded users ask and answer questions on everything from stubborn stains to useful products.

We have recently been sharing these tips including how to unblock your sink, how you can dry your clothes indoors without a dryer and how to get a streak-free shower to name just a few.

One of the most recent dilemmas comes from a top contributor on the page asking how they should clean their oven door.

Members of the community's Facebook page rushed to the comments to share their wisdom with suggestions ranging from cream cleaner to Oven Pride.

However, one of the most popular recommendations was a product that can be picked up from many major retailers including Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Poundland for £1.50.

One user advised: “Pink stuff paste will take that off no bother at all.”

Another member chimed in: “Pink stuff paste and scrunched up tin foil. Works fab!”

While a third agreed: “Pink stuff paste and tin foil. Did mine last night came up like new.”
