North Yorkshire Police have issued a photograph of a man they want to interview in connection with the theft of more than £600 from a Costa Coffee at Leeming Bar near Bedale.

They say the coffee shop was burgled and the money stolen sometime between 9pm on Saturday, November 11 and 9am on Sunday, November 12. The Costa is located at Leeming Bar Services, between Bedale Road and the A1 motorway.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "Officers are requesting the public's assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident

"In particular, they are appealing for information about the identity of a man in the picture as police would like to speak to him about the incident.
