Police are appealing for witnesses and information after sheep were chased and injured by two dogs in the Yorkshire dales.
The incident happened in a field next to the traffic light-controlled bridge on the A684 near Spennithorne in the Leyburn area at around 11am on Saturday November 18,
North Yorkshire Police said a ram was chased and injured by two terrier-type dogs.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Officers are asking for any witnesses to the incident to come forward and in particular, anyone with information about two males who were seen leaving on foot with the dogs.
"Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should email Hannah.Lancaster@northyorkshire.police.uk."
